HNY and first Social Event of 2012

A very Happy New Year to you all! We hope that all the mince pies have been scoffed and all the Champers has been quaffed? If not, then I'm sure the energetic workouts at our rehearsals for Boogie Nights will shift a few of those extra gained pounds?! Just reminding you that the first full cast call is this Thursday (5th) at St Georges Church Hall at 7.30.

 

We are planning our first social event of the year......

 

Tom Byrne and Friends are playing the Club Acadamy on Oxford Road on Saturday 4th February (evening). Tom, along with band members Mark and Dan Rendel have also been involved with SAMT on stage - recently perfoming Johnny B Goode at the Club Theatre with us. I have linked the band name to their You Tube page to give you a flavour of their sound. You can also 'like' them on their Facebook page They are playing a set of blues/roots music with a rock twist and have acquired a horn section to play alng with them too!

I think there is an Irish band called The Genuine Articles also playing that night.  I used to teach with the lead singer and they are definitely worth while seeing too.  So sounds like a good night! Debbie

Yeah they are on the same billing Debbie. I've not seen TB&F since they have the guys on horns. Looking forward to it.

The rehearsal is at the Club Theatre in Altrincham  - where the auditions were held. I've got the scores and libs. Just need to remember to bring them!
